Slip N Slide

What do you do when it's 2 degrees outside, with lots of snow on the ground??

You bundle up and make a snow slide in your backyard. :)

It was really fun for me to watch Jim and the kids slip n slid while I was taking pictures from the warmth of the inside. :)

Wake Up Call!

I woke up this morning to Blake. I opened my eyes to see dark brown smeared all over his mouth.

Needless to say, #1 I am blind as a bat. #2 I am on all these drugs from my root canal yesterday, which by the way still kills. :) #3 I have been trying to potty train Blake this last week.

So I think to myself... OMGosh! he ate his poop! No not poop. He got into the chocolate cabinet somehow. No not the kisses or M@M's. What the heck is it??

Brooklyn comes in.

"Mom, Blake ate the chocolate milk. I told him to clean it up and put it away." As she shakes her head at me, disgusted with Blake who just ate, I don't know how much of the Nestle Quick. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

My sister Becky told me I needed to write about what I am thankful for and I agreed with her so here it goes...

-The Gospel in my life. (I know everyone says that but seriously. How true this statement is)
-My health. Seriously, even though I have to go back to the dentist for a stupid root canal.
-A Roof over our heads and warm beds to sleep in while it is FREEZING outside.
-An awesome Husband who adores me. :)
-3 Beautiful Healthy children.
-Living down the street from my best friend and Sister Becky.
-Always making ends meet even though some days I don't know how we are able to survive. :)

I know I could list a ton more but this truly sums it up.

Halloween

The day started at Kallie's Halloween Parade at school.

So Halloween came and we now have 1 Cowgirl, 1 Minnie Mouse, (not witch) and 1 Pirate. Is it just me or does anybody elses kids change their minds last minute? :)










After we got ready for Trick of Treating, we went to Chipotle for FREE Burrito's. YUM!! Then came home and got a ton of FREE Candy. Double YUM!! :)

I did it. I finally started my own design blog. Where I can post all my cool finds for Interior Design. It is something that has interested me for years. It is truly one of my passions. Besides teaching Turbo Kick and Body Pump, of course. SMILE

The day was all about you!!

Your birthday fell on a Sunday this year. We celebrated with family and friends. After church we drove up the canyon and took some beautiful pictures of fall coming to life. You were asleep the whole time in your car seat. You were out!

We ate spaghetti for dinner and cake and ice cream for dessert. Yum!



You most certainly turned 2 on your birthday. With this blessed #2 came tantrums, crying, whining, not wanting to sleep, hitting, and making pools of water in all the bathrooms. BUT...

also comes the Most Sweet, Sensitive Little Boy ever.



You love playing with your sisters. You try so hard to do everything they do, and you get so excited when Kallie comes home from school.

You love your dad very much and get ecstatic when he gets home as well. Your favorite is wrestling with him and taking it like a champ. :)

You are so strong and very coordinated for a 2 year old. We always get asked, how old you are. Not because you are extremely big for your age(which makes daddy smile) but because you can drop kick a soccer ball. Hit a baseball being pitched at you and love to shoot a basketball anytime you see a hoop. We can't wait for you to develop your talents and see you in action later on in life. Whatever you choose to do, you will be great because you are so determined.

You are also a very tough kid. You can fall OFF the couch, coffee table, bed, curb, bike, or whatever else you seem to fall off of, and Get UP, Wipe Yourself off and Say OUCH!! Then your over it and you go do it again. Very determined little boy. :)

Several weeks ago, we finally took away your binky's. It was very hard for me at first. You had some severe withdrawals for that thing. But we made it. :) You are such a big boy now. You speak very well for your age. You understand everything that is said to you and carry on conversation quite well.

You love milk!!

You love to play with cars, trains, balls, and anything BOY!

You love to wave goodbye to people leaving.

One of my favorite things about you is how considerate you are. Whenever you bump me or accidentally do something you say, "Sorry mommy. Sorry!" (with the cutest voice ever)

Moving...

Moving
It is never fun. But it is needed or you wouldn't do it right?

We did move and are now trying to settle in. (just down the street not far)

We have moved 7 times out of the 9 years we have been married. Crazy yes. I know we have no control of what's been going on with jobs and what not. But, Oh to have a home thats not temporary and be able to call it, Home Sweet Home.

Don't get me wrong, I am so Grateful for this temporary house and I know that everything will work out and some day I WILL have a Home Sweet Home. (Oh and never move again) SMILE

Happy Birthday Kallie!!

For her birthday, Kallie asked for a Candy Land Party, a PINK Nintendo DS,and a Donut Cake. Well we improvised the Candy Land party to a candy movie night on the floor. I told her she couldn't have both. So she asked for the DS. (Smart girl)

We did 2 seperate get togethers for Kallie. Jim was working Swiss Days with Isaac and would miss her actual Birthday. So we opened presents Wed Night with all the family here, and then Friday her actual Birthday we did a candy night with the cousins.

She was really surprised about the DS. When I brought it out all wrapped up.

She askes, What did you get me mom?
Me- What did you ask for?
Kallie- A Pink DS!
Me- Oh shoot, kallie! you did. Cuz those are really expensive and we can't afford it right now.
Kallie- It's ok mom! I can ask Santa to bring it at Christmas.
Me- Thanks Kallie for understanding, I know Santa will bring you one. (smile)

This is when she opens up a Barbie DS game and says, Oh cool. (Still not realizing what the real present is)
