Stealing is a Sin!

Growing up, my mom always hid yummy chocolates in her night stand. Supposedly, it was her secret hiding spot. Away from us kids. :) Meanwhile, after months of missing chocolates out of her drawer. I go in her room secretly, to take yet another yummy chocolate and come to find a note on top of the Sees box that reads, "Stealing is a SIN". Now, of course I laugh at this story. But my mom taught me a great lesson that day! Stealing is a sin.

Yesterday, I received a Milk Chocolate candy bar from a friend. Just to say "Thank You". It was very sweet! Those of you who know me, know I love Milk Chocolate. So I was very excited to eat it with pretzels after dinner. One of my favorites is milk chocolate and pretzels.

After dinner we headed to the church to play basketball and run around with the kids. We get home, I hang up the jackets and start cleaning up the kitchen. Then I think, "hhmmm, where is my chocolate bar?" Suddenly, I find the wrapper folded just like I left it. But wait... it is not like I left it.

It is all gone. Just chocolate shavings.

I asked right away to Kallie who is standing there very suspiously, "Did you take the last of my chocolate bar?"

Silence. (She looked so guilty and was about to smile just like she always does when she gets nervous)

I was so angry and told her to go to her room and get ready for bed.

Then I started to think I probably would of done the same thing when I was a kid. But I knew I had to teach her a lesson. Teach her not to steal but to ask.

So I sat her down and spoke to her, telling her exactly what she did wrong, she was so remorseful and started to cry. Of course, I forgave her right away.

Kallie has such a sweet, tender, loving heart. It just makes me love her even more!

Maui! So Awesome!!

Jim and I got to go to Maui for 10 days with Jim's familiy. By the way did I mention, NO Kids! Although, they were missed. We had a blast! It was so relaxing laying on lounge chairs reading, laying out, shopping, surfing, snorkeling, parasailing, and much much more. This post is pretty long already, but I pretty much summed up the whole trip with pictures.

You can't be by the ocean and not surf! We rented some long boards and had a blast. The water in Maui is so warm. Not to mention I got up quit a few times. Had some nice rides. It was fun.

Snuba and snorkeling at the Molokini Crater was the highlight of this trip. It's out in the middle of nowhere, this sunken volcano. The water was so clear and beautiful, it was hard to get out. It was like snorkeling in a swimming pool. Really amazing water!! Well worth the sick feeling we all got from the boat ride out there.












It was so cold on the boat. Brrr! Didn't help I was sunburned.


This Honolua bay was amazing snorkeling also.

Last stop before heading to the airport. It was so beautiful and green, but it was also chilly and misty, cuz it doesn't rain there. It mists. It was way cool.



Hawaii has the best sunsets! The whole trip was so much fun. It was hard to leave Paradise!
